Jan 25, 2020: In 2008, the American housing market collapse led to a global financial tsunami that wiped out $5 trillion in asset values, bankrupted Greece and Iceland, and caused over 6 million families to lose their homes in USA alone. Almost immediately, “foreigners and the poor” were blamed in the knee-jerk reaction of finger-pointing.
